What is Microsuction?
Microsuction uses a microscope and a medical suction device to gently remove earwax buildup from the ear canal. Unlike traditional ear syringing, the doctor has direct visualisation of the ear canal at all times — making it a much quicker, safer and more comfortable procedure.
A video otoscope allows patients to see before and after imaging of their ears. The process typically takes around 20 minutes, with no downtime — you can return to normal activities immediately afterwards.
Microsuction is suitable for regular treatments due to its gentle approach and is appropriate for patients of all ages, including those who have had previous ear surgery.
